AMES, Iowa – Northeast Community College softball student-athlete Isabel Raburn (Holdrege, Neb.) was named Honorable Mention All-Region as a utility player, it was announced by the ICCAC. The honor marks the second time Raburn was honored by the conference as she was named Second Team All-Region at the conclusion of her freshman season.
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The No. 5 Northeast Community College men’s golf team traveled to Whispering Creek Golf Club in Sioux City, Iowa this week for a 54-hole event over three days as part of the North Central District Tournament. The Hawks finished in second place as a team and have officially qualified for the 2026 NJCAA DII Men’s Golf Championship May 19-22 at Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, Indiana.

As voted on by the entire athletic department, Amy Lauby (Fairmont, Neb.) earned the Female Character Student-Athlete of the Year award, Giuseppe Salvatore (Johnstown, Colo.) won the Male Character Student-Athlete of the Year award, Aaliyah Jones (Rapid City, S.D.) was the recipient of the Female Athlete of the Year award and Len Valkema (Leewarden, Netherlands) earned the Male Student-Athlete of the Year award.

FARLEY, Iowa – The Northeast Community College baseball team headed to Farley, Iowa Saturday and Sunday for their first-ever showdowns against Northeast Iowa Community College, a new team added to the ICCAC this season. The Hawks swept the series by final scores of 6-1, 17-6 and 17-3.
IOWA FALLS, Iowa and FARLEY, Iowa – The Northeast Community College softball team hit the road this weekend for two doubleheaders against Ellsworth Community College and Northeast Iowa Community College in Iowa Falls, Iowa and Farley, Iowa. The Hawks split with the Panthers on Saturday, winning Game 1 by a final score of 6-2 and dropping Game 2, 3-2. On Sunday, Northeast took Game 1 by a final score of 6-1 before the Hawks fell in Game 2 by a final score of 4-3.

AMES, Iowa – Northeast Community College men’s basketball student-athletes Johanes Piscikas (Lakeville, Minn.) and Lochie Harvey (Yarrawonga, Australia) were honored with postseason awards, it was announced by the ICCAC. Piscikas was named Second Team All-Region while Harvey was named to the conference’s All-Defensive Team.
AMES, Iowa – Northeast Community College women’s basketball student-athletes Aaliyah Jones (Rapid City, S.D.), Aweng Akoi (Sioux Falls, S.D.) and Jana Lopez (Girona, Spain) were named to the various women’s basketball all-region teams, it was announced by the ICCAC. Jones was named First Team All-Region, Akoi was named Second Team All-Region and Lopez was named Third Team All-Region.
NORFOLK, Neb. – The Northeast Community College baseball team returned to Norfolk Veterans Memorial Baseball Field in Norfolk Thursday afternoon as they played host to Briar Cliff University JV. The Hawks took the contest by a final score of 14-8.
