PLYMOUTH, Ind. – Northeast Community College men’s golfer Santiago Valdes (Mexico City, Mexico) competed in the 2023 NJCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championship on May 23-26 at Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, Indiana. Valdes finished the four-day event in a tie for 41st out of 130 competitors.

Sophomore Santiago Valdes (Mexico City, Mexico) won the event to qualify for the 2023 NJCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championship while the Hawks finished seventh as a team.
ORANGE CITY, Iowa – The Northeast Community College golf team traveled to Orange City, Iowa Monday to battle 13 different golf squads in the Raider Invitational. The Hawks finished alone in third place and one stroke off the lead in the 36-hole tournament.

NEWTON, Kan. – The Northeast Community College golf team competed in the Bethel College Spring Invitational two-day tournament over the weekend in Kansas. The Hawks finished in a tie for sixth in the event that took place at Hesston Golf Park in Hesston, Kansas on Saturday and Sand Creek Station in Newton, Kansas on Sunday.
LINCOLN, Neb. – The Northeast Community College men’s golf team competed in two different rounds during the Doane Spring Invite in both Eagle, Nebraska and Lincoln, Nebraska on Friday and Saturday. The Hawks wrapped up the event in third place out of 15 squads.
