HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head Volleyball Coach Amanda Schultze on what clicked in the two matches Wednesday:
"I felt like our blocking did a good job in that first game against WIT," Schultze said. "Daveigh Munter-McAfee did a nice job stepping up on the outside for us. Rowan O'Keefe did a nice job serving for us during that first game as well, which is a role that she hasn't played yet this season. Daveigh also took on that outside role and ran with it. She is probably one of our best passers in the back and I'm proud of her for stepping into that role."
Schultze on what her three sophomores have meant to her over the last two seasons:
"I'm most proud of how they have stepped into leadership roles," Schultze said. "Last year, none of them were starters and I'm proud of how they have stepped into that role this season and have been great leaders."
UP NEXT:
The Hawks will battle Ellsworth Community College at 6:30 p.m. next Wednesday in Iowa Falls, Iowa in a conference matchup.
