MUNTER-MCAFEE LEADS HAWKS AGAINST HIGHLAND IN COLUMBUS
COLUMBUS, Neb. – The Northeast Community College volleyball team traveled to Columbus, Nebraska Friday for a neutral-site matchup against Highland Community College. The Hawks fell by a final score of 3-0 in the contest.

Northeast (12-16, 7-2 ICCAC) stepped out of conference for the penultimate time in the regular season in the showdown and were led in kills by Daveigh Munter-McAfee (Wakefield, Neb.) with 13. Sophomore Katie Borg (Wakefield, Neb.) recorded 13 digs in the match as the Hawks will turn their attention to an upcoming week with two ICCAC matches on the schedule as Northeast will look to preserve a chance to host a playoff game in two weeks.

"We did not show up ready to play today," Schultze said. "Highland is a nice, competitive team and we struggled to stay discipline. We need to make sure we are focused and ready to play every time we step foot on the court."
