ROBIDOUX FILLS THE STAT SHEET IN HAWKS VICTORY TUESDAY NIGHT
NORFOLK, Neb. – The Northeast Community College volleyball team was back at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk Tuesday night for a conference contest against Southeastern Community College. The Hawks took the match by a final score of 3-1.

Northeast (4-10, 3-2 ICCAC) was led on the night by Grace Robidoux (Blair, Neb.) as the freshman recorded 10 kills, three ace serves and 31 digs against a Blackhawks team that was previously undefeated in ICCAC play. Alli Brown (Wakefield, Neb.) tallied 11 kills and Baylee Settje (Creston, Neb.) had 10 of her own to propel the Hawks over Southeastern in a match that went to extra points three different times.
After the triumph Tuesday night, Northeast moves to 3-2 in conference play before stepping out of ICCAC competition this weekend in Overland Park, Kansas.

HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head Volleyball Coach Amanda Schultze on what clicked in the victory:
"I thought that we served well after the first set," Schultze said. "We worked on that yesterday, and we stepped up and did a good job there. We also passed a little bit better than we have and we played solid defense, which was good to see."
Schultze on who stood out in the match:
"Grace had 31 digs and Katie had 21," Schultze said. "Daveigh stood out to me tonight as well as a leader and the things that she has been working on. I also felt like Baylee played really good defense at the net."
Schultze on what she wants to see from her group this weekend in Kansas:
"I just want to see us go out there with confidence and a mindset to finish the match and move on to the next point every single ball."
UP NEXT:
The Hawks will compete in the Johnson County Challenge over the weekend and will take on Lincoln Land Community College at 6 p.m. Friday in Overland Park, Kansas.
