O’BRIEN, STOKES AND WOODALL NAMED TO WOMEN’S SOCCER ALL-AMERICAN TEAMS
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Northeast Community College women’s soccer players Taryn O’Brien (Lakewood, Colo.), Mackenzee Stokes (Sunshine Coast, Australia) and Aidyn Woodall (Castle Rock, Colo.) were named to 2022 NJCAA Division II Women’s Soccer All-America Teams, it was announced by the NJCAA Tuesday.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Northeast Community College women's soccer players Taryn O'Brien (Lakewood, Colo.), Mackenzee Stokes (Sunshine Coast, Australia) and Aidyn Woodall (Castle Rock, Colo.) were named to 2022 NJCAA Division II Women's Soccer All-America Teams, it was announced by the NJCAA Tuesday.
O'Brien was dominate up top for the Hawks all year and was named First Team All-American for her efforts on the field during her third year at Northeast. O'Brien scored the second-most goals in the NJCAA DII ranks this season with 31, was eighth in assists with 17 and finished second in points with 79 points.
Stokes was recognized as a Second Team All-American for her performance all year in the midfield for the Hawks. Stokes finished 26th in the NJCAA DII ranks in goals with 14, 12th in assists with 13 and 21st in points with 41.
Woodall found herself as a Second Team All-American after a freshman campaign where she quickly became a dominate force for Northeast. Woodall was eighth in the NJCAA DII ranks in goals with 24, first in assists with 25 and third in points with 73.
The Hawks were Region XI Champions, Plains District Champions and qualified for the 2022 NJCAA DII Women's Soccer Championship.
