HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head Men's Basketball Josh Clark on the night against the Bobcats:
"Even down one at half, I thought we didn't play well," Clark said. "Thought we would have come out and played harder the first four minutes of the second half, but they got where they wanted to on the floor. Great effort tonight from Scottie, Johanes and Lochie. We needed to convert more at the line and missed shots around the basket. We lost by thirteen and left 17 missed chances at the line."
Clark on moving on to ICCAC play next:
"Although it was a loss at home, we were exposed on what we need to get better at tonight," Clark said. "We'll be ready for Iowa Central next Tuesday. They're a very similar team to Southeast with good, quick guards and good players surrounding them."
UP NEXT:
The Hawks will begin conference play against No. 6 Iowa Central Community College at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk.
