NORFOLK, Neb. – It wasn't what the Northeast Community College volleyball team had in mind on Thursday night.
The Hawks (3-7) fell in straight sets to Central Community College, 26-24, 25-10 and 25-20 at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk.
Dani Wadsworth (Wolbach, Neb.) led the Hawks with nine kills and 18 digs. Edyn Sudbeck (Wynot, Neb.) had 21 assists and nine digs, while Elizabeth Christensen (Stanton, Neb.) added 14 digs and Lauren Kavan (Cedar Bluffs, Neb.) had 13, respectively.
The Hawks hit the road to face Southeastern Community College at 7 p.m. Wednesday in West Burlington, Iowa.
