As voted on by the entire athletic department, Amy Lauby (Fairmont, Neb.) earned the Female Character Student-Athlete of the Year award, Giuseppe Salvatore (Johnstown, Colo.) won the Male Character Student-Athlete of the Year award, Aaliyah Jones (Rapid City, S.D.) was the recipient of the Female Athlete of the Year award and Len Valkema (Leewarden, Netherlands) earned the Male Student-Athlete of the Year award.</description>
