Anzoletti named First Team, Neves earns Second Team All-Region accolades

NORFOLK, Neb. – Sophomore Federico Anzoletti (Chioggia, Italy) was one of the top defenders in the ICCAC this season. On Tuesday, he was named to the First Team All-Region list after starting in all 16 games for the Northeast Community College men’s soccer team in 2019.

NORFOLK, Neb. – Sophomore Federico Anzoletti (Chioggia, Italy) was one of the top defenders in the ICCAC this season. On Tuesday, he was named to the First Team All-Region list after starting in all 16 games for the Northeast Community College men's soccer team in 2019.

Fellow sophomore Breno Neves (Brasilia, Brazil) earned Second Team All-Region honors for his efforts on the pitch this season. He started in 12 games, recording one goal and an assist.

Andrei Soares (Gravatai, Brazil) and Ivan Castillo-Garcia (Broomfield, Colo.) were each named Honorable Mention All-Region as freshmen for the Hawks.

Soares started in 14 games and was a critical piece in the midfield, while Castillo-Garcia started in 11 games in the net for Northeast, recording 83 saves.
