Cooper Tessendorf (Columbus, Neb.) and Max Denson (Broken Bow, Neb.) held things down on the mound the rest of the way to secure the massive triumph for Northeast.
Tessendorf and Denson both went four innings and each allowed just two hits as the Hawks will now return home to host three contests at Norfolk Veterans Memorial Baseball Field this weekend.

HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head Baseball Coach Marcus Clapp on the big victory against the Reivers:
"I really like scoring eight in the first!" Clapp said. "I thought Cooper Tessendorf and Max Denson threw really well. They kept them off balance all day. We need to be able to add more runs and keep the pressure on them, but overall, I was pleased with the game."
Clapp on what he wants to see next during his teams three-game series at home:
"We need to defend the home field this weekend!" Clapp said.
UP NEXT:
The Hawks will stay home this weekend and will begin with a doubleheader against Southwestern Community College beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday at Norfolk Veterans Memorial Field in Norfolk.
